Mental Health & Aging Speaker | Healthy Aging and Caregiver Resilience Workshops
Bringing Mental Health and Aging Education to Communities Across California
Mental Health & Aging Speaker | Healthy Aging and Caregiver Resilience Workshops
Engaging educational presentations that support older adults, strengthen caregivers, and promote emotional well-being throughout the aging journey.
How can we better support older adults as they navigate the emotional changes that come with aging? How can families and professionals recognize mental health concerns and provide meaningful support to caregivers?
At Roseville Elder Services, I bring specialized mental health and aging expertise to communities through engaging educational workshops, speaking presentations, and professional education. My presentations combine clinical knowledge with practical strategies that participants can apply in their everyday lives.
Whether you're planning a healthy aging event, caregiver education workshop, senior living program, or professional development presentation, my goal is to provide meaningful education that encourages connection, builds understanding, and empowers participants.
Meet Your Speaker: Hannah Wagner, LCSW
Hi, I'm Hannah Wagner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Roseville Elder Services.
With more than 10 years of experience in geriatric mental health, I specialize in supporting older adults and family caregivers navigating the emotional challenges of aging. I hold specialized training in mental health and aging through the Center for Mental Health & Aging and bring a clinical perspective to the topics that matter most to older adults, caregivers, and the professionals who support them.
As a therapist and community educator, I believe mental health deserves just as much attention as physical health, particularly as we grow older. My presentations are designed to make mental health topics approachable, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools that individuals and families can use to improve their quality of life.
I enjoy partnering with senior living communities, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, caregiver support programs, and community groups throughout Northern California.
2. Caregiver Resilience & Support
Caring for someone you love can be meaningful, but it can also bring emotional exhaustion, stress, guilt, and uncertainty. These workshops help caregivers better understand their emotional needs and develop strategies to protect their own well-being while caring for others.
3. Mental Health & Aging Education for Professionals
Professionals working with older adults play an important role in recognizing emotional distress and connecting individuals and families with appropriate support. These presentations provide practical education to strengthen understanding of geriatric mental health.
Who I Work With
I partner with organizations that want to provide meaningful education and support to older adults, caregivers, and professionals, including:
Senior living communities and retirement communities
Healthcare organizations and medical practices
Hospitals and community health programs
Area Agencies on Aging and senior resource organizations
Nonprofits and caregiver support programs
Community centers and senior activity groups
Professional organizations and social service agencies
What Participants Can Expect
My presentations are designed to be educational, engaging, and practical. Participants leave with more than information. They gain tools and strategies they can begin using in their everyday lives.
Depending on the topic and audience, presentations may include:
Practical strategies and evidence-informed education
Guided reflection and opportunities for discussion
Real-life examples and relatable scenarios
Actionable tools, exercises, and take-home resources
Opportunities to ask questions and connect with others
Presentations can be customized for your audience, ranging from brief educational talks to interactive workshops and longer training sessions.
